Terms of Service

The Agreement

These Terms govern your use of RuleTrade AI (“Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What RuleTrade AI is — and isn't

RuleTrade AI is a discipline platform. It helps you write down your own trading rules and then validates every planned trade against them.

• RuleTrade AI is not financial, investment, or trading advice.
• RuleTrade AI does not predict markets or provide signals.
• RuleTrade AI does not execute trades on your behalf.
• Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and results.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with all laws that apply to you, including tax and financial regulations.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• You may not share, resell, or transfer your account.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• We may suspend or close accounts that are abusive, fraudulent, or violating these Terms.

Subscriptions and billing

• Free tier is free forever, subject to reasonable-use limits.
• Paid subscriptions are billed through Razorpay in the currency shown at checkout. Your payment method is charged at the interval you select (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from Subscription → Manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
• Refunds: because Pro unlocks digital services immediately, we generally do not refund partial periods. If a payment was clearly in error, email us within 14 days and we will make it right.
• Price changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance and only apply to future billing periods.

Broker connections

When you connect a broker account via OAuth (e.g. cTrader), you authorise us to read trade and account data from that broker to sync into your journal. You can disconnect at any time from Broker sync → Disconnect. Broker terms and conditions still apply to your broker account; RuleTrade AI is not affiliated with any broker or prop firm.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Use the Service to provide public trading signals or misleading advice.
• Upload illegal content or content that infringes another person's rights.
• Circumvent limits, share credentials, or attempt to access other users' data.

Your content and data

You retain full ownership of the constitutions, trades, notes, and screenshots you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them only for the purpose of running the Service for you.

Intellectual property

RuleTrade AI, its name, logo, code, and design are ours. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our written permission. Feedback you send us may be used freely, without obligation.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RuleTrade AI's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, trading losses, or indirect damages.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (payments owed, IP, liability) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and failing that, in the courts of Bengaluru, India.
